JT Newton

JT Newton is an actor focused on storytelling, adventure, and pushing the boundaries of performance on and off the screen. Born and raised in the East Riding of Yorkshire, Newton discovered their love for the arts at a young age, eventually leading them to pursue a degree in Drama and Performance at London South Bank University.

During their time at university, Newton developed a keen interest in technology and accessibility, recognizing the power of innovation in making art more inclusive and impactful. This fascination with merging technology and performance would become a defining aspect of their career. It was brought to the forefront after their diagnosis of Dyslexia as an adult, which after further investigation, included ADHD.

Driven by a sense of adventure, a desire to serve and become a part of something bigger, Newton also found themselves drawn to the military. Joining the army opened up a world of experiences, taking them on deployments to diverse locations around the globe. These adventures enriched Newton's life and instilled in them a deep appreciation for physicality, discipline, and the art of storytelling through action.

Combining their theatrical training with their newfound skills and experiences from the military, Newton discovered an interest in stunt performance and digital media. Embracing the adrenaline rush of action sequences and the creative possibilities of digital platforms, they found a unique niche where their diverse interests converged.

Today, JT Newton continues to explore the intersection of technology, accessibility, and performance, both on stage and on screen. With a commitment to authenticity and a thirst for new challenges, they strive to captivate audiences with engaging storytelling and dedication to pushing artistic boundaries.

From the battlefield to the bright lights of the silver screen, Newton brings a dynamic energy and a fearless spirit to every role they undertake, constantly developing their performance in performance.
